A vault only you can read.
All your passwords in one box only you can open, and we cannot read what is inside. It makes strong ones, checks for leaks, and locks itself when you step away.
What you see
Locked on your device
Your vault is locked on your device first. We and Google Drive only ever hold the locked version, so no one else can read it.
Strong passwords, made for you
Ask for a new password and see how strong it is. One tap copies it, and the copy clears itself after a short time.
A check on your old ones
A report shows passwords you use twice, ones that are weak, and ones that are old. You can also check for leaks without sending your password anywhere.
One-time codes in the same place
Keep the codes some sites ask for right next to that login. A code you are shown clears itself when its time is up.
It locks itself, and only you can open it.
The vault locks after you have been away a while. You open it with your password, with fingerprint or face on a device that has it, or with a printed recovery key you keep safe.
Step by step
Make a password for the vault
This one password opens everything else. We never see it.
Print your recovery key
It is a backup way in. Keep it somewhere safe, away from your device.
Add your logins
Type them in, or bring them over from a file you save from Chrome.
Keep your devices in step
Turn this on and the locked copy stays the same on all your devices. Your logins stay unreadable to us the whole time.
Questions
Can you read my passwords?
No. The vault is locked on your device, and we only ever hold the locked version. If you lose both your password and your recovery key, nobody can open it, including us.
What if I forget my vault password?
Use your recovery key. It is a second way to open the same vault. Keep it somewhere safe.
Can I use it today?
Not yet. The app is built and in testing, and it has not been released.
